TRIED TO SAVE MY WORK WITH CT600. GO BACK TO IT HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!

Customer Services, Tiny Tax

I have spent another hour putting all the information back in again for the Corporation Tax Return I want to submit for my client. Save draft, go back to it and it's all gone. I am sorry, but there is a problem if I cannot save my work part-way through and have to do it all in one sitting.

I have to go and check my figures, some of which means looking at previous years accounts, and then coming back to it. Additionally, does the CT600 software not have the option of selecting and applying Capital Allowances?

I would be grateful if it were possible to retrieve the draft CT600 I was doing before (about 11.PM GMT), how come has all the information simply vanished as I don't recall deleting it, and I am very sure I pressed a Save Draft button? I don't want to have to spend a yet further hour filling in the Tax Return all over again- Again (having lost the first draft in the sign-up process).

Many thanks

Thanks for reporting this - and apologies for the frustration.

Good news: your data was being saved all along. We could see your draft in our database with all the figures you'd entered (turnover, P&L values, etc.). The issue was on our end - when you clicked "Continue Filing" from the dashboard, we weren't loading that saved data back into the form properly.

The auto-save feature only went live last week, and we'd missed this edge case in our testing. We've now fixed it so that "Continue Filing" correctly restores your saved work.

I can see you've since successfully submitted the CT600 for THE CHAT ROOM CIC (accepted 11 Jan at 00:22), so you're all sorted for that filing.

Again, sorry for the extra time you spent re-entering everything. The fix is now live, so this won't happen again.

Dear Tim Fouracre, Tiny Tax

Many thanks for your excellent Customer Service, that you respond so quickly to customers and are working through any glitches as they occur and are reported. I am sure that when I come to use your services again that it will be a great third-party platform for Tax Agents to submit client Corporation Tax Returns. I have another Corporation Tax Return to submit for another of my clients- our local Community Shop- in a couple of weeks- once I have prepared and received approval for their Final Accounts: So I will be back with you soon.

By the way £50 is great value for money for getting Corporation Tax Returns prepared and submitted to HMRC for clients. Other third-party Tax submission companies charge a lot more!

All the best for 2026
