Average No. Employees, Notes & P&L Disclosure
Hi
I'm looking to use your software to submit accounts and CT600 for a buy to let company in its first year.
Firstly, I believe under the companies act you have to disclose the average employee note even if it is zero. My average employees for the first year is zero as I only worked for the company as a salaried employee for a few months. When I leave this as zero it deletes the note from the accounts, is there a way to add this?
Secondly for the companies house submission there is no requirement to submit the P&L. Is there a way of removing this for the public submission?
Final, notes have been added to the accounts but I don't believe these are required, and for a property company the descriptions are not valid. Is there a way for these to be removed?
Many thanks

Average employees: You're absolutely right. Under Schedule 6A of the Companies Act, the average number of employees must be disclosed even when it's zero. We've just pushed a fix for this, so if you regenerate your accounts the Employee Information note will now appear showing "0" employees.
P&L disclosure: Good news - we already file "filleted" accounts with Companies House, which means the P&L is excluded from the public record. Only the balance sheet and notes are submitted to CH. The P&L you see in the preview is for your records and for the CT600 submission to HMRC only.
Notes: The notes are currently a fixed set that applies to all micro-entities, so we can't remove them on a per-company basis. However, I'd be interested to hear which descriptions you feel aren't valid for a property company - if there's wording that could be improved to work better across different company types, we'd definitely consider updating it.
