Allow me to edit this tax return instead of keeping me stuyck in a loop

I have entered details. There are errors (mostly caused by the software automatically filling in tax liabilities in the balance sheet). I cannot get back to edit to save my life.

As a consequence I will not be using this software

To edit your submission:

1. Log in and go to your Dashboard

2. Click Start Filing and select CT600 only

3. This will take you to the "Review Documents" page

4. Scroll to the bottom and click "Edit Submission"

If you're having trouble or the button isn't appearing, let us know what you see on screen - a screenshot would help us understand what's happening.

Regarding the tax creditor being auto-filled: this is calculated from your corporation tax liability and should match what you'll owe HMRC. If you need a different figure on your balance sheet, let us know more about your situation and we can advise.

The edit submission does not get me where I need to go. It just loops round. I am unable to get to the initial set-up screens and I want to be able to add in capital allowances for a fully-written down electric car.

In terms of the P&L and balance sheet entries, my P&L charge and balance owing to HMRC is different to what shows in the CT600 return because of a small credit relating to prior years. I am confident my numbers are correct (I am chartered accountant and until recently ran a small practice alongside my other business activities).
